GB8965-98 China National Standard for Flame Retardant Clothing
The National Bureau of Standards of China promulgated the industrial flame retardant clothing standard in 1998 with reference to the 1988 international standard of the same kind and the same name, and made detailed regulations in the following aspects: the overall performance of flame retardant clothing, the flame retardant performance of fabrics and stitches , mechanical properties of clothing, clothing structure design, processing, product packaging labeling and transportation, inspection methods, etc. Since then, it has been iteratively improved, and the latest flame retardant clothing standard is GB 8965.1-2020 version.
GA10-91 Performance requirements and test methods of ordinary protective clothing for firefighters in China
The standard for firefighters' ordinary protective clothing issued by the Ministry of Public Security of China stipulates: the overall performance of flame retardant clothing, the flame retardant performance of stitching and clothing fabrics, the mechanical properties of clothing, the structural design of clothing, processing and production, product packaging labels and transportation, inspection methods, etc.
EN531: EU industrial thermal protection standard
The overall performance, flame spread, dimensional stability, molten metal and heat resistance of the structural design of flame retardant clothing, size markings, marks, user information, pattern recognition, etc. are specified.
EN470-1: European Union Standard for Thermal Protective Clothing for Welders and Similar Jobs

EN479 European Union Fire Protection Standard
This standard specifies the standard for structural fire protection clothing, mainly considering heat and flame protection. This standard does not cover special tasks such as removal of spilled chemicals, forest fires, near fire suppression, road accident rescue, or special fire protection. The standard includes general requirements, important safety requirements, additional requirements, marking, user information and pattern recognition.
NFPA 2112: National Fire Protection Association Standard for Flame Retardant Clothing
The American Fire Protection Association has made provisions for industrial flash fire retardant clothing in these areas: user information, product marking, clothing design, sewing, fibers, signs, accessories.
NFPA 1971 2000 version of the National Fire Protection Association Standard for Firefighting clothing
Set out the minimum requirements for structural firefighter clothing, including the design, performance, testing of clothing, and testing of clothing components and supporting items (helmets, tops, gloves, trousers, shoes and boots). This version incorporates the contents of NFPA1971,1973,1972 and 1974 and is a complete replacement for NFPA1971.
NFPA 1977 1998 National Fire Protection Association Standard for firefighting clothing
This standard sets out the minimum requirements for firemen's clothing in wildland fires, including the design, performance, testing, and testing of clothing components and accessories (helmets, hoods, shirts, coats, shawls, gloves, trousers, shoes and boots). This version incorporates the original NFPA1971, 1972,1973 and 1974 and is a complete replacement for NFPA1971.
